Children, Youth & Family Services are looking for a Rostering Officer with a mind for scheduling, planning & problem solving in our Beenleigh office!

What you will be doing:
- community services - childcare, child protection, disability support
- property and fleet services
- NDIS support coordination and plan management services
What you will be doing:
- Ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner and in such a way as to ensure minimum disruption to client supports
- Audit timesheets fortnightly for payroll processing
- Advise and support Case Managers in the population of and update of rosters
- Set up and manage ongoing rosters for all employees and ensure that shifts are filled in a timely manner with support from line managers
- Process annual leave and availability requests in consultation with Case Managers
- Ensure hours worked by employees are monitored to ensure employees are working within any industrial relation obligations and awards
- Ensure shift allocations comply with contract requirements, minimum training/credentialing requirements and client preferences
- Coordinate rostering of new employees to ensure that they undertake on-site induction training and shadow shifts.
- Respond to and appropriately manage employee queries regarding their rosters
- Assist with the weekly support of the rosters, including staff competencies and verification of staff timesheets
- Backup and undertake daily rostering functions to support the team when required
- Experience and/or understanding of rostering (highly regarded)
- Ability to interpret the SCHADS award and any other relevant legislations (highly regarded)
- Intermediate skills in the use of Client Information Management Systems such as Visual Care (highly regarded)
- Flexibility to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm on a rotation roster
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and self-manage workloads to meet competing deadlines
