About this opportunity:
The Administration Officer role is responsible for contributing to the effective operation of the Behaviour Support team. The Administration Officer needs to be articulate, have attentive to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with an ability to manage relationships and competing agendas.

Key responsibilities of this role:
  • Engage with and manage referrals of new NDIS participants.
  • As first-point-of-contact, provide timely and responsive communication alongside the Behaviour Support Manager.
  • Assist with the provision of accurate and clear information in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Operate systems and accurately maintain data information, records, spreadsheets and filing systems.
  • Ensuring accuracy of detail in a timely fashion to meet NDIA and organisation requirements.
  • Make informed decisions around the daily operations and delivery of administrative services.
  • Collate data for end of month reporting to NDIS Business Unit.
  • Perform other duties as directed, provide backup support whilst other team members are on leave.
  • Participate in practice and performance review.
To succeed in this role you will have:
  • Relevant qualification related to Business Administration or other Community Services related field (desirable)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and/or worked in a similar role within the Community Services sector (desirable)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web-based applications.
  • Ability to achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes and under time pressures
  • Proven ability to work confidentially and productively with a high level of tact and diplomacy
  • Blue Card for Working with Children and NDIS Worker Screening
