What's On - Bundaberg

Bundaberg Strawberry Festival 

Date: Saturday, 22 September 

Where: 11 Rosedale Road, North Bundaberg 

Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Admission: $2 adults, $1 Kids under 10

 

Welcome to the inaugural Bundaberg Strawberry Festival at the SSS Strawberry Farms. This event is all about the kids and the strawberries of course!

 

With a large number of massive rides and jumping castles free for all kids. Parents can enjoy live Music from a list of Local Talents while enjoying a large variety of Unique food from vendors who travel from markets to markets throughout the northern region of QLD - gathering all to one place!

 

Why not pick your own strawberries straight from the farm (additional costs). The kids (and the big kids) will love to walk the lines of strawberries and pick them straight from the field.

 

TIME: 9am - 3pm
LOCATION: 11 Rosedale Road, Oakwood, QLD
All Rides Are Free, Live Local Music, Pick Your Own Strawberries, Large Variety Of Unique Foods

2018 Queensland Quarterscale Radio Control Speedway Title 

Date: Saturday, 22 September 2018 - 8:00am to Sunday, 23 September 2018 - 5:00pm

Where: 16/46 University Drive, Branyan

Admission: Free 

Coral Coast Radio Control Car Club are hosting the 2018 Queensland Quarterscale Speedway Titles.

 

They are expecting between 40 and 60 cars competing for the titles. Competitors will be coming from Brisbane, Maryborough and Bundaberg. This event will be held over three days - Friday 21st September is Practice Day, Saturday 22nd September is Heats Day and Sunday 23rd September is Heats and Finals Day.

 

There will be a Sausage sizzle, Piping Hot Pizza and Coffee Van at venue. Free admission.

Komatsu 2018 Queensland Kart Championship

Date: Saturday, 29 September 2018 - 8:00am to Sunday, 30 September 2018 - 2:00pm

Where: University Drive, Bundaberg

Admission: Free

Komatsu 2018 Queensland Kart Championship - is the second and final round of this championship. Over 130 of the best kart drivers in Queensland will converge on Bundaberg to fight for the title of Qld Kart Champion for 2018.

 

This event will be held over 3 days - Friday 28th September is Practice, Saturday 29th is heats, and Sunday 30th is finals day.

 

See drivers aged from 7 years of age all the way up to seniors. Karting is where todays V8 Supercar and F1 drivers started their careers.

 

Great day out for the family to come and watch. Canteen facilities available and free entry,

School Holiday FUN

Why not visit BSA Water Park? 

Date: September 28 (recurring event) 

Where: Bundaberg Swim Academy - 25 Fitzgerald St

Time: The water park is open 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays 7am to 3pm and Sundays 9am to 3pm

The water park caters to children aged 10 years and younger. It includes a lagoon area with two small slides, tipping bucket, mushroom water features and a small wadding pool. Two large permanent shade umbrellas cover the pool area and on extra hot days staff set up marquees to keep you undercover. The area is fully fenced with a private change and shower room too.

 

Entry to the water park is free to BSA students on the day of their lesson.  VIP rates are offered on other days for children in their program.  General admission price to the public is $4.50 per child, parents FREE.
