The CoalFest will be opened Saturday 10.10 am by the Mayor George Seymour.

Celebrating everything that the oceans of Hervey Bay has to offer, the Ocean Festival will kick off with the Blessing of the Fleet, .The Blessing of the Fleet sees the Whale Watch Operators join with local businesses dockside at the Urangan Harbour to host an evening of arts, water activities, markets and music culminating in a fireworks spectacular. You can tour whale watch vessels, talk with the crew and learn about the majestic Humpback Whale.

FraserPop Festival is returning to Maryborough Maryborough State High School will be again hosting the Fraser Coast Regions Pop Culture Expo in July 2018. A celebration of popular culture, games and gaming, cosplay and much more. This year will be even bigger and better.
