CoalFest embraces all of the best of our Heritage and the local residents put their enthusiasm on show, dressing in period costume and presenting themed food and events. Visitors young and old are catered for and welcomed in typical Aussie Country style.

The CoalFest will be opened Saturday 10.10 am by the Mayor George Seymour.

 

Stalls and Art exhibition and canteen open at 3 pm Friday Mansong 5-8 pm

Saturday 9.30 Firing of the cannon followed by Parade non stop program all day,

Blessing of the Fleet

Celebrating everything that the oceans of Hervey Bay has to offer, the Ocean Festival will kick off with the Blessing of the Fleet, .The Blessing of the Fleet sees the Whale Watch Operators join with local businesses dockside at the Urangan Harbour to host an evening of arts, water activities, markets and music culminating in a fireworks spectacular. You can tour whale watch vessels, talk with the crew and learn about the majestic Humpback Whale.

Dates:Saturday 21/7 (10am - 4:30pm) and Sunday 22/7 (10am - 3:30pm).

 

FraserPop Festival is returning to Maryborough Maryborough State High School will be again hosting the Fraser Coast Regions Pop Culture Expo in July 2018. A celebration of popular culture, games and gaming, cosplay and much more. This year will be even bigger and better. We are adding to our already exciting line up with more stalls, activities and new replica creations. Follow our Facebook page for updates and general information. Who? All age groups Cost? Free Entry, most activities are free or ask for a donation, we also have our Exhibitors Hall where you can buy a variety of popular culture items from our amazing vendors Dates:Saturday 21/7 (10am - 4:30pm) and Sunday 22/7 (10am - 3:30pm).

 

Circus Rio - Hervey Bay - DISCOUNT TICKETS

 

July 20th – July 29th.

 

Circus Rio is themed as an international spectacular, a trip around the world beginning at the famous Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Circus Rio will take the whole family, big and small on an amazing and inspiring journey; featuring outlandish costumes, infectiously uplifting dance music and tricks that are rarely (if ever) attempted in the industry.

 

Circus Rio audience members will bear witness to FMX Motorbikes somersaulting over the stage. Tightrope Walkers skipping and running across a thin piece of wire suspended high in the air - without a safety net! An all-new Flying Trapeze team, and our Juggler who currently holds an unbroken world record involving stilts, a pole, a football and jugglers rings July 20th – July 29th.
