Experienced Residential Youth Workers required for a licensed care provider in Rockhampton.
Permanent Part-Time positions available, to support our clients in ROCKHAMPTON!
WHAT IS SCSS LOOKING FOR?
A requirement prior to commencement, is eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below: (these are to be maintained at your own expense).
We have Permanent Part-Time contracts available between 40 hours per fortnight and 60 hours per fortnight - dependent on availability, skills and requirements being met!
Recent BlueCard Changes
It is now a requirement to hold your BlueCard prior to commencing work with Young People. If you do not currently hold a BlueCard, or your BlueCard is due to expire within 3 months, it will be essential to apply for a BlueCard early in the Recruitment Process. - Residential Youth Workers wanted in Rockhampton for our Child Protection programs.
- Multiple contracts available with the minimum of 40 hours per fortnight after training requirements have been met.

- Understanding of Child Protection Residential Youth Work

- Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
- Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card
- Child Protection and Personal History Screening Check
- Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have completed or be enrolled to commence a minimum Certificate 4 Qualification in a relevant area (Child, Youth and Family Intervention/Disability/Mental Health/Community Services)
- Must have a drivers licence
- Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
