This exciting opportunity is available for Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS), based at our Head Office in Bundaberg.

SCSS is a NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and child protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.

The role of Recruitment Coordinator plays a significant part in the way that SCSS reaches its goals and client requirements. The role is a full-time position that will be part of our Management Team.

What is SCSS looking for?

Ideally someone that has demonstrated experience with high volume end to end recruitment. Your values will align with SCSS and professional relationships will be paramount to you undertaking your role. You will be responsible for leading a team of passionate recruiters to ensure the best possible staff are employed to support our clients!

Experience working in the Communities sector will be highly regarded along with knowledge of the SCHADS Award.

What will you be doing?
  • Overseeing the Recruitment Team who are based throughout QLD
  • Reviewing policies and procedures relating to Recruitment
  • Reporting on KPI's
  • Completing project work relating to Recruitment for the organisation
  • Drafting and posting job advertisements for upcoming opportunities
  • Assisting team with shortlisting and screening candidates
  • Coordinating interviews, both internally and externally
  • Conducting comprehensive reference checks
  • Liaising with hiring managers and candidates at various stages throughout the recruitment process
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

A requirement prior to commencement, is eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below:
  • Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
  • Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Child Safety and Criminal History Screening - LCS2
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Drivers Licence
