Experienced Residential Youth Workers required for a licensed care provider in Ipswich.
Multiple Permanent Part-Time & Casual positions available, to support our clients in Ipswich.
SCSS is a NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and Child Protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.
WHAT IS SCSS LOOKING FOR?
Our programs operate 24/7 which includes shift work – Candidates must have the ability to participate in various shifts including sleepovers, weekends and possibly awake shifts.

- Understanding of Child Protection Residential Youth Work
- Sound IT skills to complete daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports in line with legislative requirements

- Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People (No card, No start laws apply)
- Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Child Protection and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have completed or be enrolled to commence a minimum Certificate 4 Qualification in a relevant area (Child, Youth and Family Intervention/Disability/Mental Health/Community Services)
- Must have a drivers licence (P2 minimum)
- Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
