CRUX are looking for a Finance Officer & Payroll Officer with MYOB experience to join our team in Australia's top ranked QLD Town of 2023, Bundaberg!

What you will be doing:
  • Support managers to meet their obligations for managing WH&S in the programs/departments that they manage.
  • Develop documentation and reports for stakeholders and department managers when required.
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of relevant current WH&S legislation, codes of practice, standards and policies & procedures.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct WH&S inspections and other compliance activities at required intervals.
  • Support frontline workers to formally report hazards, risks, opportunities, and incidents.
  • Conduct and record risk assessments and implement risk minimisation strategies.
  • Monitor, record and investigate WH&S Incidents to determine root cause and establish corrective actions.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance to WH&S management systems and registers.
A core requirement of this role will also see you travelling across QLD to conduct WH&S inspections.

What you will bring:
  • Certificate 4 or Diploma level qualification in WH&S or similar (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding of QLD Health & Safety legislation, acts, regulations and codes of practice (highly desirable)
  • Willingness to travel to conduct WH&S inspections
  • Exceptional administration, planning, investigation, and reporting skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web-based applications.
  • Ability to work independently but also within a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Drivers Licence
