  • Promotes Work-Life Balance, flexible hours, supports needed 7 days a week, Short or longer length shifts, Sleepover and Awake shifts also.

  • Multiple contracts available with a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight after training requirements have been met.


SCSS has several paid positions available for people that are interested in supporting NDIS clients with community access shifts, NDIS children and adults with disability clients, clients with mental health, or perhaps working residential care environment providing persona care and support to clients with physical, Intellectual and or mental health disability.

SCSS is an NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and Child Protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.

SCSS provides services to support people within our community that live with various disabilities, including mental health Psychosocial, Physical, and intellectual.

HOW WE SUPPORT OUR NDIS CLIENTS

  • Household chores and grocery shopping
  • Medication and medical appointments
  • Fishing and Beach activities
  • Social inclusion and community access
  • Holidays and camping trips
  • Meeting personal goals - fitness and wellbeing
  • Development of independent living skills
  • Implementation of behaviour management strategies


WHAT IS SCSS LOOKING FOR?
A person that is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and strives to help others. Someone that enjoys working with various clients throughout their day, supporting clients to reach their goals.

These positions may involve supporting in a residential care environment, a client's own home, or out in the community from taking clients to medical appointments, fishing, or even going to the movies.
  • No prior experiences are necessary. Current life skills are also considered.
  • Flexibility across to varied shifts, shifts available seven days a week all hours, these can include community access support shifts, In-home supports, longer residential support shifts, weekend, public holidays, night shifts & overnight sleepovers.
  • Ability to support clients across a variety of clients, from social supports to complex care needs.

A requirement before commencement is the eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below: (these are to be maintained at your own expense).
  • Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
  • Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card
  • Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must have a driver's license
  • Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation module
