CRUX Management Services (CRUX) provide people, compliance and corporate services to our stakeholders across multiple business units and departments. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Officer to join our team and manage our vehicle fleet, ensuring it supports our Service Delivery teams effectively and efficiently.

Job Summary:
As a Fleet Officer, you will play a critical role in managing our vehicle fleet, which is essential to our day-to-day operations and client service delivery. You will oversee the maintenance, coordination, and optimisation of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are in excellent condition and comply with all relevant regulations. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of transportation services provided to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the daily operations connected to ensuring a safe vehicle fleet are performed, including but not limited to, vehicle bookings, scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections & monitoring fuel cards and toll accounts.
  • Monitor in-coming invoices & registration renewals, coordinating payments with the Finance Department. Implement cost-saving measures and optimize fleet performance.
  • Ensure all fleet operations comply with legal and legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and usage (including audits of vehicle logbooks).
  • Work closely with managers, support staff, and external service providers to ensure smooth and efficient vehicle operations.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet management, particularly with a large volume and geographically diverse fleet.
  • Qualification in logistics, business management, or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience using Fleet Management or Vehicle Booking specific software.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes and knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility to apply for or currently hold Working with Children Blue Card
  • Current unencumbered Drivers Licence
