Seeking expressions of interest from experienced Disability Support Workers for a licensed care provider at Rainbow Beach!
Expression of Interest for Permanent Part-Time positions available, to support our services at Rainbow Beach!
SCSS is a NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and Child Protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.
SCSS provides services to support people within our community that live with various disabilities and mental health.

Recent BlueCard Changes
It is now a requirement to hold your BlueCard prior to commencing work with Young People. If you do not currently hold a BlueCard, or your BlueCard is due to expire within 3 months, it will be essential to apply for a BlueCard early in the Recruitment Process. - Household chores and grocery shopping
- Medication and medical appointments
- Fishing and Beach activities
- Social inclusion and community access
- Holidays and camping trips
- Meeting personal goals - fitness and wellbeing
- Development of independent living skills
- Implementation of behaviour management strategies
A person that is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and strives on helping others. Someone that enjoys working with variety of different challenges in their day-to-day.
- Flexibility across a 7 day/night roster, which includes shift work, periodic weekend, public holidays, night shifts & overnight sleepovers.
- Flexibility to support across additional disability programs, is also desirable.
- Understanding or ability to gain knowledge about trauma based behaviours.
- Working with complex and challenging behaviours.
- Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Child Protection and Personal History Screening Check
- Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have a drivers licence
