This exciting opportunity is available for Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS), based at Head Office in Bundaberg.

SCSS is a NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and child protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.

What will you be doing?

The Case Manager – Profiles NDIS reporting to the Intake and Engagement Manager, will be accountable for reviewing participant profiles, providing qualitative assessments and analysis to ensure clients receive the maximum funding achievable, deemed reasonable and necessary, to support them in achieving their goals.

The Case Manager – Profiles NDIS will provide a link between the Service Delivery frontline team, the Intake and Engagement team, and the NDIA. The role will work to ensure that submitted quotes provide clients with the maximum reasonable and necessary supports available through best practice Client Profiles, whilst meeting the requirements of the NDIA. The Case Manager – Profiles NDIS will also be required to meet targets and expectations in the areas of: Quote Processing Deadlines, Client Satisfaction, Stakeholder Response & Brand Reputation.

We are open to Allied Health and NDIS specialist looking to make a change and supporting our frontline managers, to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications & Knowledge/Experience:

Essential:
  • Strong understanding of NDIS environment
  • Experienced in preparation of SIL quotes in a medium to large organisation
  • Advanced writing skill and understanding of behaviours and or allied heath Practitioner
  • Process improvement and conceptualisation experience
  • Dealing with financial/non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working with multiple financial/non-financial stakeholders
  • Effective and proven negotiation skills
Desirable:
  • Involvement in new systems scoping and implementation
  • A demonstrated ability in writing business applications, funding submissions and reports as required
  • Experienced in working with financial accounting or reporting systems
  • Knowledgeable in labour force management / rostering systems
  • Well-informed in workflow management systems
A requirement prior to commencement, is eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below:
  • Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
  • Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Child Safety and Criminal History Screening - LCS2
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Drivers Licence
