Support Workers required to support a client in one of our programs located in Bundaberg!
Multiple Permanent Part-Time & Casual positions available, to support a client in a program located in Bundaberg!
SCSS is a NDIS and Child Protection provider servicing Queensland with our head office based in Bundaberg. Our core business is to provide a range of disability and Child Protection services to meet the needs of those that are most vulnerable in our community.
HOW WE SUPPORT OUR CLIENT IN THIS PROGRAM

- NDIS Support Workers Wanted for a specific program in our Bundaberg Region
- Multiple Permanent Part Time and Casual contracts available

HOW WE SUPPORT OUR CLIENT IN THIS PROGRAM
- Assist client to use iPad to work through emotions
- Assist client with specialised schooling program
- Support client to go to the beach
- Support client to see the alpacas, visit the zoo and attend equine therapy
- Support client to go grocery shopping with a modified shopping list
- Assist client with building skills in the kitchen and following meal plans
- Being active and engaging with the client to do fun activities (playground time, activity room)
- Patience to assist client to reach goals slowly at their own pace
- A person that is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and strives on helping others
- Know how to provide a supportive and fun environment for our clients
- Experience working with complex supports and challenging behaviours
- Knowledge of the NDIS including plans and types of support
A requirement prior to commencement, is eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below: (these are to be maintained at your own expense).
- Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People (No card, No start laws apply)
- Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Must have a drivers licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation module
